this day
55 loud sighs after another camp.
the camp could be excellent rather than OK if the kids would have been a little bit more receptive and cooperative.
but it's done and over with.
and i'm just bloody happy.
on the way home i was wondering.
what am i going to the with the pay from National Service?
then it occurred to me....
hey i'm forced to go,
but i get paid.....
maybe if i used the money to get the things i've always wanted,
the equation would be more like this..
one unit negative (forced to go) plus one unit positive (pay) plus one unit positive (radical fantastic bombastic stuff)....equals...one unit positive!!!
so now, i've realised...
i have to plan now.
there are some things that i've wanted to get so long ago but it was just that there was a grand canyon sized hole in my pocket, and now that i can get them, i need to plan which to get first.
the money's not much but if i saved up and not use the money for the 1 year 10 months i'd probably be able to buy 15 laptops.
but that's not what i want.
so currently, my list of priorities goes like this:
1) one metal recurve bow plus arrows (around $400-$600)
2) one DSLR Canon camera plus macro lenses (around $3000 - $4000)
3) first-aid course
4) kayaking level 2 course
5) rock climbing level 2 course
6) boardsailing course
7) sailing course
8) Mt kinabalu trip
now did i miss out anything...
