FORUM: Honeyed Sabah Tea

"The ooh la la of all teas, the essence of the Camellia sinensis of Sabah immersed in honey and brewed to perfection. Even the word, naizz, couldn't fit it well enough. It's just so.....so ooh la la..." ~ Mr Green aka anonymous

Meditation Guru

It seems everyone is into meditation these days. It has been seen as a method of relieving stress and also to some, a way to pass their time away and save money. Yoga, for example, has been growing in popularity ever since movie stars have claimed to have been doing it to fight off depression. Relaxing in the park is another way one can relief stress. The beauty of nature simply cleanses the mind and soul. However, there is a new way of relieving stress and it has been claimed as being the Mother of All Stress Relievers.

What could be better than sitting in a corner and relax, not having to think about anything in the world except for that liquid-less, air-filled can? Nothing. Yes, nothing. And that is the view made by Mr. Shabedubap (seen here in picture), CEO of MeditaTEchnology in an interview.

He is the inventor of the Meditacan (seen here in picture). The device he claims will be able to vacuum that aura of stress into the opening of the can and trap it in there for good.

One wonders how that simple-looking piece of "can" can suck the stress out of the system just by staring at it.

"It works by being liquid-less and air-filled. That sort of environment has been proven by my researchers to be like a magnet for the stress auras," answered Mr. Shabedubap during the launching of the product when asked how the device work.

On trying it, I somehow felt a cooling sensation seeping through my body. It seemed that this device could actually work. However, when I stopped looking at the hole in the can, it disappeared.

Asked why this happened, Mr. Shabedubap said,"Yes, once you stop looking at the hole, the stress aura returns. We haven't found a way to close the can after opening it."

How to lose money to a vending machine (Vendidumb)

DUE TIMES is glad to bring you our new HOBBY COLUMN. Our first hobby features a new game that is gaining popularity, named the Vendidumb.

Materials needed: Coins (1 $1 coin, 1 $0.50 coin, 2 $0.20 coins and 5 $0.10 coins), Good pair of shoes.

Steps involved:

1) Find a faulty vending machine which dispenses can drinks. How to know that it is faulty? Check the coin slot and if you see something shiny inside the slot, chances are that there is a coin stuck in it. THAT, my friend, is a faulty vending machine. Bravo to you for successfully finding it. That's why you need a good pair of shoes.

2) Look around and check if anyone is around. If there are people around, act like the vending machine doesn't offer the drinks that you want. Then walk away...don't act suspicious.

3) If there is no one around, stuff a 10 cent coin into the coin slot...

4) Did it drop into the slot or did it get stuck? If it dropped into the slot, most probably the vending machine isn't faulty. Move away and find a faulty one. Repeat step 1.

5) If the coin doesn't drop down, stuff the 20 cent coin into the slot and try to push the 10 cent coin down. If it does fall down, repeat step one. If it doesn't, use the 50 cent coin and try to push the 20 cent coin down the slot.

6) If the coin doesn't drop down, stuff the $1 coin in now. Make sure that a part of the coin is visible. This is very important! If you hear a coin dropping down as you do this, repeat step 1.

7) When all coins are stuck in the slot and the $1 coin is visible from the outside of the slot, walk away and do your own business and come back in a few hours and check on the slot.

8) The sense of achievement comes when you see that your $1 coin has been replaced by a silver coloured coin which has also got stuck in the coin slot. Well done! You have just realised that there are dumb people around that will still put their money into a slot that is obviously stuck.
If you find a different placement of a $1 coin, then it is obvious that there are more Vendidumb players around. That is why step 2 is very important...stealth is essential as you don't want other Vendidumb players to take over your vending machine.

Have Fun!
