Ask Auntie Amigo

In today's Ask Auntie Amigo's section, we have a boy who asks:

"Dear Auntie Amigo, i have a friend who likes to take pictures in the centre of roads. He says it is fun and i should try it. I feel that it is cool to take pictures in the centre of roads. I am young and dangerous and it fits my personality to take pictures like that. I told my mum about this and she tells me that i shouldn't because it is dangerous. I am now in a dilemma. Should i listen to my mum or my friend?
ps: Auntie Amigo is the best!" ~auntie amigo fan

Auntie Amigo: "You should listen to your mum. Have you heard the saying "Mum's know best"? Dude, read more books. Your mum gave birth to you. She knows what's best for you. It is dangerous taking pictures of roads. Look at the picture above. Can you see the car approaching and this bugger still takes pictures of it moving towards him? Yes, it is cool to take pictures of roads. And yes, it is also STUPID to do so when cars are moving towards you. This photographer is probably not in the right mind. Listen to Auntie Amigo and listen to Mum. DO NOT take pictures in the centre of the road. There are other ways to be cool and young and dangerous. Like taking pictures in the middle of MRT tracks.
Yours truly, Auntie Amigo"
